Today, ROKR brings this vision to life with the Leonardo da Vinci’s Helicopter, a mechanical 3D puzzle that features double helix wings, a 6-cylinder radial engine, a 2-blade propeller, a steam engine core, and a conveyor belt-type drive crank, just like how the inventor drew it. This DIY model is the quintessential steampunk display straight from the Renaissance, lit up by a red-orange LED light in its furnace and blowing steam out of its chimney. Sturdy Steam Punk Construction
The main body of the beetle is made of ABS polymer structure material with good impact resistance. Along with the brass and black color palette, this results in a sturdy steampunk-style construction that’s befitting its mechanized theme.
